Specials

Art

Art is a vital component of total Catholic education. Art provides students with a break from the day’s academics using various media. Students learn about fundamentals of art through scale and interpretation. Student project work is completed in drawing, paint and/or creamics.

Music

Music is an important component of total Catholic education. The program provides a break from the day’s academics using both voice and instruments. Students learn about fundamentals of music through composition and performance. Our Liturgy also provides regular occasions for sung prayer in our weekly Mass.

PE

Physical education is an integral component of total Catholic education. PE provides a break from the day’s academics through cooperative games designed to promote success and build self-esteem. Through Physical Education a student can appreciate that sound development of the mind and body are ways of becoming a happy fulfilled child of God.

Technology/Library

Technology is a critical skill for students today. This class provides students with a break from the day’s academics while teaching valuable skills of keyboarding and navigation within the MS Office Suite. PreK-2nd grade students are offered this time as a literacy and visit our school library.

Spanish

Second language instruction begins in PreK. Spanish is taught through exposure and immersion in the language and culture. Students are taught formally through oral and written curriculum tailored for the target age group.

S.T.E.M.

(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is a project based hands-on learning offering for students in K-8. Instruction and experiments are delivered in our STEM lab or classrooms.These collaborative learning activities allow students to apply real world discovery to the grade level science standards.
